About the role
 
Provide Learning and Development section administrative support to the business.
 
Main Responsibilities:
  • Arrange the delivery of Babcock Clyde annual training plans and programmes, managing delegate lists, joining instructions, attendance sheets and evaluation processes.
  • Contribute to and participate in continual review of Learning and Development processes and participate in process improvement activities as appropriate
  • To maintain accurate administrative systems and records to provide accurate and timely information records, reports and Balance Scorecard reports using appropriate IT systems and information. 
  • Provide administrative support to internal and Marine Development Programmes i.e. ILM, Apprentice Programmes, Graduate Programmes, Lead/Drive
  • General administrative duties, includes report writing, minute taking, filing, visitor notifications, ordering supplies, contractor assistance
  • To provide Learning and Development Team, Line Managers and Employees with a consistently professional support service and advice.

What else do I need to know?
 
This role is based at HM Naval Base Clyde, located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.
 
The salary for this role will be £20,788 per annum.  Any existing Grade 2 employees will be appointed at their current salary level, however will be subject to pay protection if their current salary exceeds £20,788.
 
This role may be considered for flexible working.

What do I need to do the role?

You will have previous Admin experience with IT literacy and a high level of data accuracy.

You will also have knowledge of Business Applications, e.g. CONCUR, IFS Portal, FCM, Labour Booking Portal, HR Policies and Procedures for apprentices and graduates and Training Cycle.

What else do I need to know?
