This is an exciting time to join the Analytical Team at the Serious Fraud Office, we have recently remodeled our operating structure enabling us to respond more dynamically to the needs of the organisation and beyond. We are providing our expertise to even more investigations, operations and an expanding proactive Intelligence Division, as a result we need to increase our resources to achieve this.

Job description

Our intelligence analysts are encouraged to continually challenge themselves and develop on their skillsets by proactively seeking innovative techniques and training. We recognise the need for continuous professional development and the role of the analyst is no exception, you will be fully supported to enhance your skills and have the opportunity to attend invite only national training forums.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside legal professions tackling high profile, serious economic crime at close quarters.

Responsibilities

The Intelligence Analysts are responsible for generating Strategic, Tactical, Operational and Investigative products to an exceptionally high standard. As an SFO analyst you will be expected to work independently across the whole organisation from supporting case investigation teams, developing intelligence operations to working collaboratively with partners to produce strategic reports. You will also be expected to work closely as an analytical team to provide support, share demand and cascade learning. Your work will have an influential role in decision making at a senior level and often represent the SFO at joint-agency meetings.
