Role Summary/Purpose:
    The Senior Network and Communication Manager will support GE Aviation Systems business in delivering business goals & objectives! This person will assist in building and improving business cases for New technology introduction and New Product Introduction, as well as act as a focal to the business on telecoms / network projects, queries, tasks etc.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Asset management processes are followed efficiently
  • Owning and building monitoring platform
  • Planning budget, operating plan spend and consistency to agreed forecast
  • Input into global strategy, coordinating with GE Aviation HQ network team to ensure strategy alignment; designing, implementing and operating
  • Ensure the smooth running of a busy network engineering team to meet the needs of the team!
  • Prioritizes ticket analysis, electronic helpdesk workgroup management and customer concern
  • Work seamlessly to deliver from customer initiation, technical solution, commercial discussions and then partner with technical teams and service owners
  • Coordination with other areas of the business to ensure desired outcomes
Qualifications/Requirements:
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience of enterprise LAN/WAN management
  • Team leadership/management
  • Demonstrable Presentation skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Substantial experience communicating to multiple stakeholder levels, including GE customers, GE end users and senior leadership including GE Executives
  • Experience working across a diverse global environment of IT employees, consultants and vendors
  • Relevant industry/vendor qualification
