Role Summary/Purpose:
    Reporting to the GP7000 Business Leader, this is a key role that will enable effective delivery fulfillment, operational success and customer satisfaction for the product line. The successful individual will need to be an effective communicator at all levels, support and develop the fulfillment strategy aligned to the GP7000 product line.
Essential Responsibilities:
    Own and be accountable for all aspects of the Material fulfilment function for the GP7000 product line, this will include
  • Establishing and controlling accumulation and launch rules
  • Establishing and controlling consistent material visit rules
  • To ensure a consistent supply of parts to satisfy demands made by Operations in support of the product business plan
  • Co-ordination of the engine material status & ensuring on time delivery to engine plans
  • Ownership of critical callsgets are met to include Visit process and accumulation
  • Liaise with internal supply streams to ensure delivery to plan, including engine and module redelivery
  • To work in partnership with repair engineering in order to identify opportunities for the recovery of parts
  • Represent/Support Materials Leader during key business meetings
  • Liaise with customer with regards to contractual terms and conditions and their impact on business performance
  • To ensure 100% compliance with GE Policies and Procedures in undertaking all aspects of the role
  • Act as the interface between operations and commercial teams in terms of commercial protection via valid hold days for Gate 2The successful candidate would also be expected to Look for ways to improve our fulfilment processes in order that we both reduce TAT and decrease cost
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Experience in a Manufacturing, Operations or Materials Management position
  • Proven track record of delivery in a challenging role
  • Six Sigma training (GE employees only)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Systems
  • Analytical skills
