Job title: Recruitment Advisor

Location: London

Duration: 3 Months (Inside IR35)

Standard duties:

*Responsible for individual recruitment campaigns for posts at all levels, making effective use of the ATS and ensuring compliance with recruitment processes, KPIs and other procedures to recruit high quality internal and external candidates to a diverse range of posts.
*Provide excellent customer service to all the stakeholders involved in the recruitment process, managing expectations and responding to queries and complaints in an appropriate and timely manner.
*Advise and coach managers and HR representatives on all aspects of recruitment and selection (i.e. writing job descriptions, recruitment markets, advertising, timetables, short-listing and interviewing, making offers and providing feedback).
*Ensure that recruitment and selection meet the requirements of the Equality Act and other relevant employment law, and that the recruitment service promotes the House of Commons' commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
*Initiating the on boarding process by conducting pre-employment checks and drafting accurate and appropriate contractual documents for new starters.
*Participate on recruitment and selection boards as required, ensuring these follow relevant employment law, best practice and Parliamentary Digital Service /Parliamentary policies.
*Ensure paper and electronic records are maintained, evidence of any action is included, and any irrelevant or out of date material is disposed of in line with the Digital Service/Parliamentary guidance.
