Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major Public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting an Senior Finance Business Partner for an initially 9-12 months contract based in Liverpool.

ROLE DETAILS HERE

Title: Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: Liverpool (This role will require regular travel between the Liverpool and Darlington)

Duration: 9-12 Months

Essential professional

Must be a qualified member of a recognised CCAB accountancy body or CIMA

Essential Experience

• Leading teams, building finance capability and enhancing financial processes
• Experience of budget preparation, review and reporting.
• Experience supporting and challenging budget holders in a similar finance business partnering role
• Experience of explaining financial information to non-financial audiences, and of supporting the financial assessment of proposals to aid decision making
• Use of Microsoft excel and ERP/finance systems, including use of finance and MI systems to extract data, provide insight, and optimise finance processes to minimise processing times/costs

Desirable Knowledge

• Knowledge of financial management within a NDPB setting.

Other Information

This role will require regular travel between the Liverpool and Darlington DBS sites
