What’s the opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to become part of a wider international HR team.  We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor specialising in Reward to deliver remuneration and benefit activities across the UK.
 
What will you be doing?
  • Ensuring alignment between Reward activities and MBDA strategy, people strategy, best practice and employment legislation.
  • Delivering Reward activities across the UK business e.g. pay reviews, bonus payments and employee benefits.
  • Providing Client Facing HR support to customer base including delivery of reward calendar activities and any ad hoc reward related activities.
  • Acting as project lead on a variety of reward and benefit topics, from salary survey submissions to introduction of new benefits ensuring appropriate stakeholder management, benchmarking and communications plans are in place to support such projects.
  • Managing monthly and cyclical reward activities i.e. graduate pay reviews, payroll reconciliation, pension auto enrolment assessment.
  • Work with relevant external providers in the provision of employee benefits, from engagement of supplier, supplier management and query resolution.

Who and what we are looking for from you?
Essential:
  • Reward experience.
  • A forward thinking results focussed approach is essential.
  • Ability to analyse information, present summarised findings and where applicable proposed solutions.
  • Logical and pragmatic approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills at all levels and stakeholder management experience.
  • Planning and project management skills required.
  • Leading edge HR thinking and practice with emphasis on improving business performance.
  • Competent in holding difficult conversations and providing advice to make decisions in complex circumstances.
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically.
     
    Desirable:
  • Knowledge of SAP HR
  • Generalist experience within HR, ER, Talent, Learning and Development and Resourcing desirable.
  • Advanced standard of Excel: ability to use Pivot Tables, V-Look-ups, Conditional formatting
  • Degree qualified and Member of the Charted Institute of Personnel and Development desirable.
