BI Developer/Team Leader - About the role:

Our clients are looking for BI Developer to work in the Data Improvement Services (DIS) team.

This team is responsible for providing 3rd line support, and developing small changes, for pre-existing Data & Analytical Modelling (DAM) applications which are critical to the customer's internal processes as well as external 3rd party processes. You will be working on high profile, long-term projects this is a tremendous opportunity to build your career gaining knowledge and experience.

Key Skills/Experience - BI Developer/Team Leader:

• A Business Intelligence (BI) skillset (SQL, SSAS, SSIS), however a variety of software technologies are used across Data & Analytical Modelling's applications.
• Developing, testing, deploying and documenting small changes (typically worked on by an individual developer for 30 days or less) for several BI systems.
• Clarifying requirements and plans of action with product owners, end users and system testers.
• Working through the Change Request process. This requires comprehensive documentation and co-ordination with teams elsewhere in the business, whenever code is scheduled to be deployed to UAT or Live environments.
• Contributing to daily stand-ups and monthly retrospectives.
• Assisting DIS team members, and the 2nd line support team, Data Systems Support (DSS), with resolving incidents.
• Knowledge sharing with DIS and DSS team members.
• Attention to detail, and in the absence of a subject matter expert, a willingness to dedicate time to reading through code and documentation to identify defects, fixes, and the potentially unintended consequences of those fixes.
