Project Co-ordinator

My client who is based in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for an apprentice Project Co Ordinator to be part of one of their Project Co-ordination hubs, you'll be working with some of their largest government customers and corporate brands across the UK and Ireland.

Each project and customers are unique, which means it's an exciting place to learn new skills.
You will work alongside other Apprentices in a project co-ordination team. You will be well supported by experienced project and programme managers day to day as well as developing you to reach your own career ambitions.

What you will be doing:
Delivery - Providing Project Co-ordination services to the
Project & Programme Management Team as directed, on
projects of varying size and complexity. This may involve
owning some projects end-to-end (with a small to medium
degree of risk) end-to-end or helping as part of a wider
Programme or Project Team.
Organsing - Organising and controlling project activities,
under the direction of a Project or Programme Manager.
Ensure deadlines are met and documents are updated
accurately. Tracking and ensuring actions are completed.

Required Skills:
You will need to achieve (or have achieved) 2 A-Level's
with a minimum of CC grades by September 2018. In
addition you will need to have a minimum of 4 GCSE's
at grades 4 - 9 (GCSE C or above) including English
Language and Maths.
Knowledge of project co-ordination or project
management would be beneficial but not essential.
An ability to engage people through verbal, written and
presentation skills.
Well organised and detailed orientated.
Demonstrate initiative - self-starter.
Good interpersonal skills. Great communicator, able to form relationships and build rapport.
