Workstream Lead - SC Cleared

Our client require an experienced SC Cleared Project Manager to act as a Workstream Lead to ensure delivery of a set of business changes as part of a wider Government Digital Transformation programme, The role requires experience of capturing requirements, stakeholder management, project management, Knowledge of MOD and/or Government working of IT development, Ways of working, Records Management and Security. SC Clearance will be utilised as part of the role. Key deliverables: Fully articulated scope, deliverables, plan and resource for the workstream; Workstream plan which should be regularly maintained, Regular status updates & Governance papers as required. Essential skills and experience: Proven experience gained on similar government or defence projects and programmes, Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering transition and/or transformation projects, Extensive business and organisational change experience, Ability to ensure robust planning, management (through appropriate governance) and progress reporting against the approved plan, represent the project with, and escalate issues to, the Project Manager, Ability to advise the project team on the optimal approach to meet project objectives against time and cost, Proven experience in stakeholder management, must be able to effectively engage, communicate, influence and challenge stakeholders across a range of departments and external suppliers, Able to build relationships and engage with project team members and business stakeholders alike, Knowledge of MOD and/or Government working at Secret, IT development, Ways of working, Records Management and Security organisations, Prince2, APMP, MSP or formal PM accreditations useful & Be content to travel to other locations as needed. SC Clearance will be utilised as part of the role.
