AWE are currently recruiting for Technical Administrators

Location - Reading area

Supporting either our Conventional Machining or Explosives Technology Centres, at AWE, these roles will involve providing technical administrative capability to deliver efficient manufacturing systems and ways of working.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities will also include but are not limited to:

· Management of configuration documentation produced by Production Engineering teams, supporting them in the creation and/or completion of documents as required

· Data compilation/co-ordination, report generation and information management (including management of various metrics, route card, inventory management and minute taking)

· Management of various spreadsheets (e.g. those denoting statuses of projects, training, review responses and actions)

· Printing, binding, filing and control of MPS, SPS, Method Statements, Technical Reports and Design History documentation etc.

· Support Quality, Safety, Projects, Facility and any other relevant department/programme/project as per business need

· Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and to be a great team player

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have a strong administrative background capable of using MS Office to good standard with excellent organisational skills. Previous experience working in a Manufacturing/Production or Operational environment is preferred but not essential.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
