About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an HR Coordinator to support the HR Operational and Shared Services functions in Clyde.

You will be responsible for the delivery of transactional HR services to managers and employees across the organisation. HR services include but not limited to recruitment, employee on boarding, employee off boarding, absence management, reward, payroll and benefits administration, HR information systems management, data analysis and management information reporting.

You will act as point of contact for business areas and will be responsible for providing guidance regarding the organisation's HR processes and procedures, supporting managers and employees in accessing HR services. You will work closely with HR Business Partners and Specialists to provide an integrated and robust Human Resource Management proposition and service.

You will act as systems administrator for all HR information systems, including SuccessFactors and IFS and will be responsible for managing data quality and data integrity. You will have key responsibilities in the analysis of data, producing high quality management information and data-driven insights to support business decision making.

What do I need to do the role?

  • A relevant business administration or Level 3 CIPD qualification would be beneficial or relevant experience.
  • Understanding of the typical policies, procedures and processes that are core to HR service provision.
  • Expertise in the use of HR information systems.
  • Customer focus and track record of delivering outstanding service and outcomes for key stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication skills, in written and verbal form and confidence and ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Knowledge of various data analysis techniques and methodologies and ability to produce accurate and insightful management information.

What else do I need to know?

This role is based at HM Naval Base Clyde, located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.

This role is a six month fixed term contract, working hours are Monday to Thursday 08.00am to 4.30pm and Friday, 8.00am to 1pm.
