BAU Desktop Engineer (SC Cleared)

BAU Desktop Engineer - Contract - Newbury, Berkshire.

A global IT services company is searching for a BAU Desktop Engineer to join their team on customer site in Newbury.

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered.

The role itself encompasses managing fault calls, service requests and planned changes, VOIP telephony support, High level AV support, VIP Support, Smart-Hands support and manning the 'TechDeck' (PC/Laptop builds, OS configuration, AD administration, some hardware repair) Windows 10 .

This position will require an Engineer capable of building key relationships with end users, including VIP/Executives/Senior Management and their support staff. Call management. Some project work may be required.

Skills Mandatory:

• Strong organisational and admin skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Deskside capabilities.
• Stock control.
• Office 365.

Skills Preferred:

• Windows 10 experience
• Stock control
• Documentation creation

Skills Desirable:

• AV knowledge and experience
