Software Tester x 2

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are actively seeking 2 highly personable and technically astute Software Tester Support Specialists. The ideal candidates for this role will have experience providing software testing support within NATO, the MoD, civil service, the wider armed forces or a defence organisation. You will be responsible for various tasks related to technical support. This work is located in The Hauge, Netherlands and will suit those either already living there or willing to work within that location unencumbered. Sound like a great fit?

THE ROLE

Your daily role responsibilities will include:

• Develop/conduct unit and automated testing of software components

• Develop/conduct manual test procedures

• Report automated and manual test results in test reports.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Passionate about this opportunity? Here are the basic qualifications we are looking for:

• You possess a degree or equivalent work experience in related field.

• Recent experience in system and software testing (e.g. certification)

• You have working knowledge using testing tools (e.g. TestRail), automated test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Gauge) and methodologies (e.g. Agile).

• Possess the ability to speak and write fluent English since the work is conducted in English

• You have knowledge and usage of NIRIS.

• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP) and application protocols (e.g. HTTP, HTTPS, AMQP).

• Experience verifying functional and non-functional requirements. (e.g. development of test cases, test data, etc.).

• Knowledge of continuous software integration and automated testing.

• You have relevant and recent experience in working with a software development team.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a NATO Secret Security Clearance
