About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Academy Trainer to focus on our customer service programmes. We are the UK's leading supplier of automotive training and have a contract with BMW to provide training for their Retailer Staff for Sales, Aftersales, Management, Leadership and Systems Training.

In this role you will deliver, design, develop and maintain training to BMW staff at the Academy Site in Reading and occasionally out at the retail sites. You will proactively identify and implement opportunities to add value to the customer and our business. Forming a key member of the Academy team, you will help ensure high levels of service across the Academy as a whole are maintained. You will also assist in the promotion and marketing of courses in order to achieve more than 80% course utilisation

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to be personable, professional and driven with the ability to engage people at all levels.
Would also like you to have:
  • Either experience within a technical / mechanical automotive environment, or experience as a Trainer. Both is highly desirable.
  • Ideally some form of Training qualification (although specific, tailor-made BMW training is provided).
  • Level 3 qualified automotive technician, or equivalent
  • Be comfortable using Microsoft Office suite

What else do I need to know?

  • Based in Reading, Berkshire
  • Permanent position, 37.5 hours a week
