About the role
Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are currently looking to recruit a Bid Lead on a full time, permanent basis.

You will report functionally to the Head of Bids and operationally to the Head of Operations and support the growth and delivery aspirations of the business.

Initially you will be required to support business growth including business development and bidding new opportunities. Taking an active part in the development of proposals from initial capture planning through to bid delivery.

  • Identifying, briefing and providing direction to multi-disciplined bid team and leading partner company/supply-chain inputs.
  • Responsible for facilitating pre-bid phase/development work and generating bid schedule.
  • Provision of 'first gate' of quality control on bid outputs and supporting internal governance packs.
  • Delivery of successful bids (normally ranging £1M to £100m) submitted on time, to budget, to the required quality level. Leading through governance. Managing partner inputs.

What do I need to do the role?

We are ideally looking for you to hold the following:

  • Degree or equivalent preferable
  • APM qualification preferable
  • Bid delivery - demonstrate an understanding of the importance of delivery to programme in terms of time and cost.
  • Compliance - demonstrate an understanding of the appropriate compliance requirements in regulated environments.
  • Technical - Knowledge and understanding of basic engineering principles and how they are applied.

What else do I need to know?

  • All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks. Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage.
