Role responsibilities

We are looking for a Property Services Technician to join our team at MOD Shoeburyness.

To undertake and complete legionella tasks across various sites, including weekly flushing, monthly temperature, six monthly tank inspections, etc. Recording all readings and updates and reporting any defects or changes to the site L8 Responsible Person.

Update and record all actions within the L8 Book, escalating any key issues to the site RP.
Assisting the Site RP with actions following of site risk assessments. Implementation and monitoring of control regimes and tracking of ongoing performance

Be able to undertake other tasks within competency such as, fire alarm testing, fire door inspections, utility readings.

Maintain an understanding of changes in relevant legislation, Codes of Practice and guidance; ensuring awareness of developing and good practice

Skills/experience required

• 
  Legionella Awareness, BS23 Water Systems or WHO 010 Control of Legionella within water systems
  * IOSH Working Safely certificate
  * Driving License - Full & Clean
  * Organised, driven, enthusiastic
  * Effective communication skills
  * Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  * Understanding and experience of Legionella management requirements
  * Basic IT skills, use of email, excel and word
