Nuclear Repair Coppersmith X2

About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit two Nuclear Repair Coppersmiths to join our team at HMNB Clyde.
You will scope out tasks, produce wire templates of pipework, access material requirements, bend up pipework/braze connections/valves ECT as well as work with mechanical fitters and welders, the NDE department and test shop as and when required.
What do I need to do the role?
Qualifications within Plumbing, pipe fitting and/or welding would be an advantage, however genuine experience is important. Copper Smithing would be desirable.
You will be experienced in Pipe Bending, Brazing, mechanical APT, Pipe Material Awareness, and pipework Jointing Method/Procedures
You will also have a high attention to detail where procedures are involved and have previously worked in confined spaces.
What else do I need to know?
The role is based at HM Naval Base Clyde, located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.
