Eurofighter Typhoon SME
Location - Lincolnshire, UK
Start date - ASAP
End date - 31/03/2020
Role responsibilities
- Provide Typhoon specialist advice
- Offer advice on all matters relating to Typhoon capability
- Take the lead on understanding the context behind incoming questions and queries relating to Typhoon capability, and working to develop solutions and answers to such questions
- Act as main interface between UK Typhoon capability development programme and external stakeholders
- Act as the operator SME in the development and maintenance of focussed tactics manuals and security grading guide
Essential skills/experience
- Typhoon pilot front line experience, ideally within the last 12 months
- In excess of 2000 hours in combat aircraft
- Qualified weapons instructor
- Experience of having operated with other nations' air forces
- Must be fully conversant with current and future Typhoon software standards and detailed understanding of the Typhoon weapon system
