Software Consultant - Permanent - Gloucestershire - Up to £65,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities for the Software Consultant:

Presenting technical content clearly & concisely to a range of audiences at different levels of both technical literacy & seniority
Influencing, directing & managing change which is intra, or inter-discipline, from conception through to delivery.
Writing & reviewing technical bids & proposals both internally & externally to win work or business confidence
Mentoring, coaching & training others in best-practice across different technologies.
Supporting challenging projects by influencing & taking corrective action where necessary to improve delivery outcomes.
Leading, mentoring, supporting and developing small cross discipline project teams (3-5 engineers) and junior staff members to achieve project delivery.
Estimation, planning and execution of work for individuals & teams to build business confidence, enable progress reporting and deliver projects/work.
Deep understanding of, and broad experience applying different software development methodologies throughout the life-cycle of a project/product.
Understand of how best to leverage UML/SysML to model and design complex software solutions which are distributed, interacting with FPGAs and processors.
Application of design patterns to solve problems in-line with best-practice.
Use, debugging, design, implementation and test of network devices
