Enterprise Service Architect

Net Consulting is currently seeking an Enterprise Service Architect (ESA) with in-depth experience of Defence networks / systems and associated IT Service Management solutions.

We are looking for strong candidates that have a good understanding of a broad range of IT concepts and technologies including:

• ITIL Service Design
• Experience in TOGAF and ArchiMate
• Service Integration and Management (SIAM)
• Systems thinking
• Knowledge of IT governance and operations
• MOD network joining rules
• Enterprise networking
• Enterprise system design
• Enterprise Service Management technologies
• Solution development
• Documentation

The ideal candidate will have five years’ experience in system design, architecture and integration.

Role:

The ESA will be responsible for the organisation’s Service Management strategy, including processes, tooling and documentation. They will be required to work in partnership with the customer to prioritise activities and develop a shared road map for the Service Management capability, driving continual service improvement.

The ESA will be responsible for the development of a road map detailing the exploitation path of the Service Management capability, aligned with the organisation’s future requirements.

They will work across organisational silos, helping to drive a common approach to Enterprise Service Management aligned with IT strategy. The strategy should ensure that current and future needs of the organisation are met in an efficient, sustainable and agile manner.

Responsibilities:

• Alignment of the IT Service Management solution with the programme’s goals
• Strategic responsibility for the programme’s solution
• Direct involvement with the development of organisation policies
• Direct involvement with the development and maintenance of the organisation’s design principles and policies
• Work closely with SMEs to ensure that the proposed solutions are technically viable in line with industry best practices
• The successful candidate must be willing to undergo the Government Security clearance application process
