About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit Fleet Manager to join the team.
You will manage the workshop operation to ensure efficient and cost effective deployment of resource.
This role will also develop and maintain an effective relationship with Edinburgh Airport by delivering the highest levels of customer service and an exceptional Fleet Management function.
As the Fleet Manager you will be key, important role providing the service to the customer. Manages a team of four plus 1 admin.
What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to be t ime served Mechanical / Electrical Engineer.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • In depth knowledge of Airport specific equipment
  • Knowledge and experience of workshop IT support systems and fleet management systems e.g. Tranman.
  • Experience in an airport GSE, automotive or transport environment
  • Able to build rapport and maintain relationships
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work well in a team
Lastly you need a s trong organisational, negotiation and diplomacy skills with the ability to produce and present professional documentation, adapting style and approach specific for the target audience.

  • Working pattern is Mon-Thur 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-1pm
