Responsibilities include: To develop, document and undertake other configuration/administrative tasks according to defined Standard Operating Procedures including, but not limited to: changing backup tapes, setting up new user accounts, disabling accounts, resetting passwords, patching ports, checking audit/maintenance logs, monitoring system performance/availability, documenting changes, etc.

* Investigate IT issues (incidents) raised to the Help Desk by end users that fall within the remit of the Systems Support Team, visiting them where appropriate.
* Install all systems software, upgrades or new releases, all utility software, and all temporary programme fixes.
* Maintain the production environment for critical applications - working to reduce the risk of disruption to the production environment.
* Maintain and use all appropriate technical manuals and documentation and follow Change Control procedures.

* Powershell scripting an advantage
* SCCM 2012

* VSphere
