Due to continued success and programme expansions another opening has been created for a RF or Hardware engineer to join the design team of this growing RF company.
The primary role is hardware development including design, layout, prototyping, testing and debugging.
In order to gain product experience, you will initially be taken under the wing of the software, hardware and field engineering teams.
The role may involve travel, sometimes at short notice.
Responsibilities:
- Concept creation and evaluation
- Work at all levels of the design process including: Concept creation and evaluation, detailed schematic design, component layout, prototyping, testing and debugging
Required technical Skills
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
- Experience of RF test and measurement equipment (VNA, spectrum analysers etc)
- Understanding of RF systems. (Antennas, transmitters, receivers and propagation)
- Experience of RF standards compliance
- Experience of Altium Designer. Schematic Entry and PCB layout (ideally in RF applications)
Other Useful Skills
- Strong knowledge of peripheral analogue and digital circuitry
- Experience of production support
- Some working knowledge of C or Python
