About the role
Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit a Production Engineer based at our site in Radar Road, Leicester. You will join a team that has vast experience in Nuclear Engineering and provide professionally competent specialist services to our many clients.
Using your experience, you will prepare detailed assembly instructions from drawings and specifications and to provide practical support to the technicians during the assembly & test process of bespoke components and machinery.
We produce highly specialist products to the nuclear industry ranging from small component up to large heavy equipment. This is a highly rewarding position working within a market leading nuclear engineering organisation that provide first class career development across our diverse workforce.
What do I need to do the role?
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and quality requirements
  • Experience testing and assembling mechanical components
  • Review and advise engineering department on manufacturability of new designs and processes to ensure design for manufacture adhered to.
  • Be able to work within a large team of multi skilled engineers.

What else do I need to know?

  • The role will be based at Whetstone, Leicester
  • Working hours split across 4.5 days (Monday- Thursday 7.30 - 4.30 / Friday 7.30 - 12.30)
