About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Site Operations Manager.
You will manage and continually improve the LAFT2 Site performance to achieve cost effective delivery of the LAFT2 business that consistently exceed all customer requirements. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the professional standards and training of all site staff.

  • Deliver the LAFT2 contract Statement of Requirement at Aldergrove. Maintain overall responsibility for all LAFT2 ( Aldergrove) site activity including First Line and Depth Aircraft Engineering, Safety Equipment, Logistics and MT at LAFT2 ( Aldergrove).
  • Ensure all Company aircraft and associated equipment is utilised in conformity to authorised schedules, technical publications and instructions ensuring highest standards of maintenance are maintained.
  • Supervise the investigation, defects and submission of reports as required.
  • To complete all site documentation in accordance with current legislation and submit all site reports in a timely manner.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need Senior Supervisor or Management experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
  • IT Skills - essential.
  • Aircraft Engineering experience at management level.
  • Recognised Health & Safety Qualification.
  • Defence industry experience.
  • Technically competent.
  • Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customers and contract.
  • Wide range of knowledge of different departments within airfield operations.

Lastly, you'll need a full UK clean driving license.

What else do I need to know?
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
