Information Assurance Consultant

Location: Bristol

They are looking for an Information Security Consultant; you will be part of the InfoSec team working delivering to private and public service clients. You will be responsible for

• Devising/Assisting coordination of bids and proposals.
• Ensure the quality management system are effectively complied
• Ensure the Information Security Management System (ISMS) is effectively complied
• Translate security policy requirements sensibly into technical solutions

Desired

• Ability to be security cleared to SC/DV
• Registered CESG Certified Professional (CCP)
• Knowledge of a range of InfoSec methods, tools and techniques including HMG IS 1&2
• Understanding of physical, personnel, procedural and technical security controls
• Knowledge of the security issues (existing, current and emerging technologies) in cloud, virtualization and web.
• Ability to interpret and advice on current HMG, CESG and MOD InfoSec policy and guidance.
• Degree educated (ICT, science or engineering related discipline)

• Security auditing / Information Assurance Maturity Model (IAMM) assessment.
• Digital Forensics.
• Protective Monitoring.
• Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.

• Operational Security.
• Project Management.
• Service Management.
