Role: Embedded Software Developer

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

Location: Gloucestershire

A FTSE 100 multi-national Security and Defence organisation are actively seeking experienced Embedded Software Developers to join their team.

Working closely with the intelligence community this role will place you at the cutting edge of the UKs ongoing security efforts; gaining exposure to a wide range of projects and technologies with the help and support of an experienced team.

Key Skills:

• Experience with low level coding and development with C / C++ (eg real-time software, drivers, embedded software etc.)
• A strong interest in expanding technical knowledge both in areas of core expertise and more generally.
• A desire and aptitude to work towards gaining the experience required to take on technical lead roles.

Technical proficiency to include:

• Highly motivated with a strong academic background in Electronic or Software Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (typically with a 2:1 or 1st class degree)
• Broad interest in wireless or network security technology, and awareness of latest industry developments
• 1+ year experience of C++ development.
