Role Profile

As part of this growing business unit, we need several Senior Consultant grade Business Change Managers.

Person Profile

Key Requirements

* Very good working knowledge of change management theory and can apply it in a practical way
* Adapts to the needs of the business situation or project, achieve project team agreement on the key tasks, deliverables, outcomes and responsibilities for change implementation delivery
* Focuses on enabling delivery teams to take responsibility for implementation readiness, informed by consistent use of a change and implementation toolkit. Work independently of others and able to complete all tasks using own judgement, escalating as needed
* Achieve great results on small, less complex implementations without supervision and manages more complex situations through use of prepared implementation models
* Additive in bid solutioning and initial programme/transformation initiation
* Sees the value of actions in terms of the longer-term goals.

General management skills & capabilities

* Proven track record in managing small to medium teams
* Experience of delivery within a range of different project management techniques such as agile and waterfall
* Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
* A developed ability to act quickly and flexibly, to ensure that issues are identified and acted upon before they become a problem.
* The ability to see the bigger picture - and understand the client's needs and priorities.
* Facilitation skills, to help working-groups to develop solutions for their own challenges and create strategies for moving forward.
* Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
* Effective efficiency, able to employ appropriate administrative and organising skills.

Person Specification

* Over 3 years' Business Change Management experience is essential
* A Degree (2:1 or higher) or equivalent qualification would be desirable
* Holding APMG Change Management or Prosci qualifications would also be desirable
