SAP Lead Engineer

Our client provides technical services to the government and defence sector. Due to additional workload, they have an immediate requirement for a Security Cleared Lead Engineer with expertise in SAP to offer support on an initial 3 month contract, with the potential to extend.

Required profile:

• Expertise in SAP WM/SD/LE Configuration & process knowledge.
• Preferably at least 4 end to end implementations of SAP WM/SD/LE.
• You need to have experience with SAP SD with LE/WM integration
• Preferably at least 10 years' experience preferably in manufacturing/supply chain sector.
• Must be able to run and facilitate requirement gathering workshops, map processes and document business requirements ensuring adherence to design principles
• Expertise in shop floor movements, Kanban and vertical Storage Units.
• Sound knowledge of business process & best practices around material handling, purchase/procurement, warehouse, route management and physical inventory counts and audits.
• Creating functional specifications for ABAP developments and validating custom objects

Nice to have:

• Integration with PP/PP-PI Production planning and Scheduling
• Integration with PS - Project Systems
• Prior experience in having worked on RF developments
• Knowledgeable on implementation + project + support related processes, issue tracking & management.
• Ability to support with business change activities to include communications, training, identifying business impacts and planning and executing resolutions through the project life cycle

• A self-starter who is able to advise the business on best practice
