The Role of a Project Specialist Officer (SEO)
Your role as Project Specialist officer will be to successfully lead the team, large portfolios and projects within a finance/ commercial capacity, such as Invoices, expenditures, forecasting, asset management, commercial arrangements within budgets.You will manage and be responsible of the procurement of supplies and services and ensure best/ robust practices and guidance at all times. In addition to this you will manage and maintain professional relationships with internal/ external stakeholders and co-ordinate project delivery with other teams and suppliers.

Key Outcome & Deliverables
Within the Project Specialist Officer role, you will have solid experience in delivering Project Management delivery and principles such as planning, risk management, reporting, commercial and financial tracking in a Public-sector environment. As part of the role you will produce plans in MSP, Project resource Management, RAIDs whilst building and leading diverse teams of skilled people. Have a background in PMO delivery in a public-sector environment and Co-ordinate project delivery with other teams and suppliers on a daily basis whilst building stakeholder relationships at all levels.


The Project Specialist Officer will also have:
*Deliver Project Management principles i.e. planning, risk management, reporting, commercial and financial tracking.
*Produce Plans in MSP, Project Resource Management, RAIDs.
*Build and lead diverse teams of skilled people.
*A background in PMO delivery involving network technologies in a public-sector environment.
*Co-ordinate project delivery with other teams and suppliers
*Possess an understanding of Government network standards and policies.

**Some travel required within the role based Salford Manchester and offices based in Croydon (up to twice a month)

**We are especially keen to hear from applicants displaying a strong background in Public Sector with a Finance/ Commercial background.
