SC Cleared Accessibility Test Analyst

Role: SC Cleared Accessibility Tester
Length: 4 Months +
Location: Croydon
Rate: £300-400 Daily
IR35: Outside

My Croydon based client is looking for an Accessibility Test Analyst to join them with the following skills;

Experience
*Hands on accessibility tester with experience of quality assurance, testing, access needs and inclusion
*Strong experience with assessing compliance to WCAG2.1 (or 2.0) to level AA
*Understanding of digital service design and product development lifecycles
*Use of common web-technologies including CSS, HTML and Javascript
*Use of accessibility testing tools like aXe to determine issues and potential fixes
*Use of accessibility tools like NVDA, JAWS and ZoomText to enable assessments
*Some awareness of bdd-automation using Java and Selenium would be an advantage
*Familiarity with Oracle products, specifically Oracle Fusion, would also be an advantage
*General awareness of technical, legal and compliance issues related to accessibility

Day-to-Day responsibilities
*Undertaking a brief initial assessment of a product to determine an appropriate accessibility test approach
*Briefly describing the plan, including what will be covered and any technical dependencies
*Assessing products against at least WCAG2.1 level AA using a range of methods, tools and approaches
*Producing simple reports highlighting issues around accessibility and the impacts
*Working with the QA team to help with fixes and re-testing


Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
