Project Manager (Transition)
Location: Fareham/Portsmouth
Permanent, Full Time
About the role
Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a Project Manager to ensure robust project methodology is applied to the development, documentation and implementation of transition projects. You will ensure all business change initiatives are delivered to high standards and drive delivery against KPI's.
Your main responsibilities will include the development of detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of the Transition phases for the overall project. Working closely with Head of Programme Management and Head of Solution Development, you will ensure project deliverables and objectives are on track against the bid plan.

What do I need to do the role?
You will be Prince2/APMP qualified with experience in large scale project management. You must be knowledgeable about risk management, and be a confident user of Microsoft packages, particularly MS Project.

- Producing planned and updated summary reports, including cost breakdowns and summaries
- Ensure project plans, milestone reporting, formalised risk and issue management processes are in place
- Developing and managing an appropriate tracking, control and reporting framework
- Ensure programme is being delivered against budget and in line with project plans
- Provide clear communication on project progress to all internal and external stakeholders

What do I need to do the role?

- You will work a 37 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
- Early Friday finish
