About the role
Here at Babcock International, we're looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our Digital Solutions team providing Information, Analytic, Decision Support and IT services to our customers. As a project manager within Digital Solutions, you would be managing the delivery of integrated projects to the agreed budget, timescales and quality standard.

Using your experience of end-to-end project delivery in the IT or defence sectors you will liaise and work with stakeholders at all levels, providing knowledge and expertise in the specified field in order to deliver business solutions. You'll be a strong individual who can hold the team to the delivery schedule and be responsible for timely submission and agreement of client changes and variations, ensuring that opportunities for contract revenue and margin growth are maximised.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to be educated to degree level or hold a relevant professional PM qualification, as well as experience of managing complex IT projects using techniques including APM, Prince 2 and ITIL. APM is also desirable.

We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
• Relevant experience of the Maritime Defence or IT domain.
• Significant experience of delivering projects autonomously
• Managing third party suppliers
• Managing the Customer Interface
• Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with the Project management process and documenting these in the PID

Lastly, you'll need working knowledge of IT systems life cycle from requirements analysis through to implementation with a full understanding of TickIT and ISO 20000 quality requirements.

What else do I need to know?
• This role is based at Fradley Industrial Estate, Lichfield or Bristol Business Park in the Stoke Gifford area of Bristol.
• The expected salary will be £42,180-51,830pa depending on experience.
