Project Manager

RT Consulting are a Change and Transformation Consultancy. We are successfully supporting the delivery of tangible, long lasting change across the UK Government, Defence and Intelligence Sectors.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Analysing, developing and supporting the timely and cost effective delivery of client projects meeting business needs
• Appropriate planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting of project  performance
• Support identification of risk and mitigating actions
• Champion the application of appropriate project delivery strategies ensuring successful business outcome.

Key experiences we are looking for include:

• Knowledge of P3M and previous experience of implementing P3M practices
• Strong Stakeholder Engagement
• Ability to work autonomously and a proven track record of Project Delivery
• Defence industry knowledge (desirable)
• Mentoring or Coaching (desirable)

The successful Project Manager will ideally be and have:

• Experience within Engineering, Aerospace or Defence
• PRINCE2 Practitioner level
• APMP - Certified Project Management Associate
• A member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM)

Due to the nature of this project, the Project Manager will need to be Security Cleared or willing and eligible to go through the clearance process.

RT Consultants have the opportunity to work across a number of the largest, most complex Programmes of work being delivered across the UK. As a member of our RT Society, we aim to offer you as much support and project continuity as possible, with a dedicated Society Team Lead and web based platform where you can interact with other RT Society members.
