About the role

We are recruiting for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to work within our Fuel Improvement team at Cavendish Nuclear. You will work with our end client, a leading Energy provider to provide fuel improvement solutions.

What do I need to do the role?

You will be an Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical background and be keen to develop a career within the nuclear space. It is beneficial if you do have any experience within Power stations or the nuclear industry but any technical or industrial background will be considered.
This role will be working on a number of projects set by our client, so we will be looking for someone who has had exposure to working with the fundamentals project management and the project lifecycle.

What else do I need to know about the role?

You will be responsible for ensuring that site activities, the regulatory and statutory requirements upon Cavendish Nuclear and the Client are complied with and to ensure the design and safety intent is met. An Engineer shall ensure all engineering planning; safe systems of work are in place to undertake packages of work.
