Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit a Senior Engineering Manager to be based from either Newbury or Aldermaston. You will join a team vastly experienced within the nuclear engineering sector who provide professional and specialist services to key clients.

Ideally you will have previously worked within a highly regulated environment requiring change and innovation. Using your experience, you will carry out all the duties of a Senior Engineering Manager to deliver and provide multi-discipline technical solutions to extensive complex projects. This will be through the direction and management of the Engineering and Technical Specialist teams to ensure on time delivery of programmes. Overall you will lead a team of roughly 25 individuals at various seniorities.

This is a highly rewarding position working within a market leading nuclear engineering organisation. We support UK and international nuclear power stations with a range of services and strive to be best in class across our various contracts.

What do I need to do the role?
  • Proven history of multifaceted engineering management
  • Experience managing EPC cradle to grave projects
  • Ability to provide effective leadership and assist in cultural change
  • Understanding and appreciation of transverse engineering
  • Ideally experienced within a highly regulated environmen

  • What else do I need to know?
  • The role will be based at either Newbury or Aldermaston with regular travel from one to the other.
  • Nuclear experience is not a necessity, applications from all engineering domains will be welcomed

Security
Successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
