AWE are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to work within one of the HR sub function teams to provide efficient and effective HR advisory services and first point of contact support for the business, working to agreed service levels and delivering a customer centric service.

You will be required to:

  • Deliver efficient and effective HR advice to customers providing first point of contact services through HRIS, telephone, email and walk-ins and dealing with escalated issues
  • Lead the maintenance of local team work processes and documentation, drive service improvements and ensure stakeholders and customers are up to date with HR working practices
  • Build relationships appropriate to area of expertise in order to improve experience for customers
  • Maintain workload and case trackers to enable the reporting of service performance and identification of improvements. Collate and analyse local team case data to identify issues and opportunities
  • Ensure HR related documentation (hard copy and electronic) is appropriately handled, managed and retained in compliance with data privacy regulations, including the archiving process; and ensure all correspondence and documentation produced is accurate, using approved templates
  • Ensure local work instructions are followed to maintain process compliance and quality

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills:

  • Good standard of general education, with proven literacy and numeracy
  • CIPD level 3 or equivalent HR Qualification is desirable, or relevant HR experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint or a large ERP system
  • Experience of working in a customer services environment delivering transactional tasks and providing first point of contact services
  • Experience of process improvement activities
  • Experience of working to SLAs and KPIs - desired
  • Experience of project working, ideally in an HR context - desired
  • Knowledge of Workday, SABA, Oracle or equivalent HRIS technologies - desired
