LOCATION: Central London

DURATION: 12 Months Contract - option to extend based on personal performance

DAILY RATE: Highly Competitive - dependent on candidate's level of experience

CONDITIONS: Security Cleared environment - DV Clearance is required to fulfil this post

Role Profile

We are keen to recruit an experienced Security Consultant to work on a programme which is looking to merge the IT of multiple clients.

You will be required to produce high quality risk management documentation, liaising with client security architects, accreditors and stakeholders to capture requirements.

You will also be working with projects and programmes to resource, plan and deliver security deliverables in line with project finances and timescales.

You will to be able to understand and review IT Designs (especially Security architecture) and also be able to facilitate security working groups and security testing activities.

Skills & Experience

• Understanding of security polices, standards and good practice guides coupled with the ability to apply them pragmatically and in line with the needs of the business

• Able to advise on corporate, balanced risk management decisions tailored to particular needs of the business

• In collaboration with security architects, able to assess the level of technical capability of potential threat agents and able to review an information security risk assessment

• Ability to review architectures to ensure mitigation of the identified risks and conformity to the relevant security policies and legislation

• Ability to assess the security of a system, business process, or other organisational component to determine if it is appropriate for the protection of the information being processed
