About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Training Planner to be responsible and accountable for the planning of Military and Civilian personnel in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.

Main Tasks:

  • Produce Long Term course plans of all ME & AE, ME (Nuclear) & INM career and PJT courses iaw the Statement of Training Requirements (SOTR) and Training Plan.
  • Create information systems templates for above courses, plan, schedule and de-conflict them.
  • Input all Sultan course occurrences into JPA and TAFMIS and keep all Sultan course data current in JPA and TAFMIS by administrating all relevant Training Planning documentation.
  • Liaise with relevant internal and external Service organisations and Civilian agencies/companies necessary to maintain the course programmes.
  • Represent the Training Planning function at relevant internal and external meetings.
  • Provide SME advice on Training Planning issues and policy.

What do I need to do the role?

You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Business Administration and ECDL or equivalent demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.

You will also possess strong administrative and organisation skills with a high degree of integrity.

What else do I need to know?

  • This role may be considered for flexible working.
  • SC security clearance will be required.
  • There may be a requirement for travel between Babcock sites within the UK.
