We are looking for a Compliance Analyst that would monitor compliance with AWE's Internal Financial Control Framework, ensuring keys controls and KPIs are robust and fit for purpose. This role would sit in the Finance and Business Management function reporting into the Internal Financial Compliance Manager.
As a Compliance Analyst you will be involved with the below;
- Monitoring compliance and performance with controls within the AWE Internal Financial Control Framework through report/data analysis, investigating issues and making recommendations
- Work with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Process Owners to ensure that key controls are robust, fit for purpose and operated in line with the required frequency
- Ensuring F&BM key controls and KPI targets are appropriately documented and communicated
- Making personnel/Delegation of Authority changes to the AWE Work Breakdown Structure
- Working with Process and Control Owners to ensure SOX control deficiencies are remediated in a timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with and communicating changes to F&BM processes, policies and procedures (i.e. AWE Travel & Expenses Policy, Downward Delegation Procedure)
We are looking for our Compliance Analyst to have;
- Effective communication and team working
- An analytical mind with great attention to detail
- Process compliance
- Experience of using best practice financial management processes, tools and techniques
- Experience of developing stakeholder relationships
- Working towards relevant professional qualification and membership (CIMA, ACCA) - Preferred
