FPGA Design Engineer

FPGA design Engineer required undertake the whole of the development process from negotiation of requirements and initial design architecture, through to the formal validation and verification of the design. Many designs have demanding safety requirements so the successful candidate must be able to rigorously verify their designs.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:

A thorough understanding of and completion of a reasonable number of complex FPGA designs based around Xilinx, Intel and Microsemi.

Proven capability in verification of such devices.

Knowledge of the trends in FPGA technologies.

Competent use of various CAE Design tools (Xilinx ISE, Vivado, Libero, Quartus).

Inherent drive to gain and spread knowledge throughout the team and for the benefit of the team.

Ability to communicate and influence appropriately through presentations, verbally and via written reports.

Strong personal abilities with a focus on and desire to achieve the delivery of tasks to schedule.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
