About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Senior Engineer to join the team.
Provision of technical support to the Project Manager for the planning and delivery of track renewals ensuring all technical aspects of the works comply with relevant Group and Line Standards and safety legislation. Monitor and ensure technical compliance on all works, site and office and ensure all works are undertaken in compliance with Contractual Specification and Group and Line Standards.
You will undertake all technical aspects of works in compliance with Group and Line Standards and undertake surveys, planning and programming of work, technical supervision on site, preparation of documents.

You will hold Whiteboard/Stage Gate meetings in accordance with procedure producing the required outputs to support effective and robust delivery of the works to completion and review completed works to ensure 'Best Practice' and 'Lessons Learnt' activities are captured, recorded and utilised in future work planning and execution.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to hold an HNC in an Engineering discipline or working towards and have good IT skills. You will have good communication and man management skills.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

1. Good knowledge of Track Renewals Disciplines.
2. Excellent knowledge of Rules & Regulations, H.A.S.A.W and other appropriate regulations.
3. Excellent knowledge of both group and line standards.
4. In depth knowledge of all aspects of track renewals disciplines.
5. Knowledge of p/way design

What else do I need to know?
