Technical Business Analyst

Based in: London

Length of contract: 3 months (potentially up to 12 months)

Clearance required: SC Clearance

A Central Government organisation is seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst for a designated category portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specialist will be part of agile development team working closely with the Project Manager, Technical Lead, Developers, Testers, business stakeholders, customers, service designer and Lead Architect
• Specialist will be required to work within an agile development environment and existing vendor to understand legacy API/web application, customer interactions and onboarding
• Work in an agile team to understand and analyse user and business needs to ensure outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy
• Contribute to the link between current and future business models and delivering to the business architecture
• Facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs
• Responsible for requirement gathering, Gap Analysis, Impact Analysis, stakeholder management/engagement, traceability, Business Solution Design, Users Stories (BDD), and contribute to agile ceremonies and backlog grooming and sprint planning

Ideal Experience:

• Evidence of experience in Business Analysis - gather needs and analyse information using comprehensive tools and techniques
• Designing and linking to Target Operating Model (TOM)
• Ability to map business processes and data flow from source to target according to the data and development lifecycle
• Evidence of strong stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrable experience of Agile delivery, JIRA and Confluence
• Demonstrable experience of successfully and collaboratively working, coaching and sharing knowledge with public sector client teams, particularly those with limited agile development experience
