Business Intelligence Lead - Pegasus Project, MoD

Our client, the Ministry of Defence (through the Aurora Engineering Partnership), are seeking an Business Intelligence Lead to join their team. The role will be based in Marcomm Comcen (St Vincent) in St James’, London, with some travel required in the UK and internationally.

Technical Discipline: Communications technology

Requirements are scheduled to run until 30^th September 2020. This is a competitive tender and there is therefore no pre-defined price attached to this role. We suggest that a rate of £500 - £600/day will be competitive, however please approach us if you have different requirements.

IR35 STATUS: Inside IR35. The MoD have indicated then intend to operate the engagement as Inside IR35. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement.

Specific Requirements

The purpose of the Business Intelligence Lead is to facilitate insight and understanding regarding the performance of current projects. This will be achieved through tracking and extracting the right information from national projects whilst discerning what insights can be obtained and shared through self-service visualisations. The role will require Microsoft Power BI skills.

Travel and Overtime

Based in St Vincent’s with travel within the UK based on MOD policy.

Occasional overseas travel to Australia/Canada/New Zealand/USA. Addressed as part of programme funding at Defence travel rates.

Overtime expected to support one two hour meeting per week; to cater for time zone arrangements

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas are cannot be accepted.
