Ruislip and Union Street in London - will include travelling to customer's sites
About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage the project team to safely deliver, on time, to stated quality, at minimum cost and to client satisfaction. You will act as the link between the client and other key stakeholders.
Your main duties will consist of but won't be limited to: Tender schedules and contributing to procurement of trade contractors, preparing detailed project plan, establishing client relationships, progressing meetings and reporting, managing and developing the team. managing, monitoring and coordinating all key aspects of the project, including but not limited to, cost, value, risk, logistics, neighbour relations, safety, quality, design and environment, financial reports and dealing with project cost plans including risk allowance.
What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to hold an RIBA, Prince 2, APM or PMP accreditation.
Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
  • Previous work in a similar role.
  • Understanding of the project and procurement lifecycle.
  • Successful track record of managing clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of UK and Europe legal framework, including health and safety regulations, contract law, environment and building regulations.
  • Key project processes such as design principals and management, procurement and tendering.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
What else do I need to know?
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
