About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit SHEQS Business Partner to join the team.
As a leader on the Business Executive team, this role drives the SHEQS agenda through the Executive team and takes responsibility for influencing the shape of the SHEQS strategy development and delivery.

You will collaborate with the Land Sector SHEQS Centre roles in setting standards and bringing consistency for Information Assurance (Security), Quality, Wellbeing as well as relevant Health, Safety and Environmental matters. Develop, rationalise and integrate processes and procedures/management to reflect the business / ISO requirements and ensure the products and services provided are fit for purpose and meet relevant internal and external standards (legal compliance and customer expectations).
The role is pivotal in maintaining and improving the safety and resilience of the day to day operations and to ensure everyone is "Home Safe Everyday". The role provides SHEQS leadership, direction and effective SHEQS resource across all of the Business operation.

What do I need to do the role?
Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
  • Previous work experience in implementing, maintaining and auditing: ISO 9001, BSI ISO 14001 and BSI OHSAS 18001, IAMM Level 3 standards or equivalent
  • Manufacturing sector experience
Lastly, you'll need to be a Chartered Member of Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH) or working towards, supported by a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
