- Reporting to the Dowty Digital Technology site leader, this dedicated service operations role is responsible for: - Development of key business analytics and visualisations. - Support the maintenance of our Windows 2012 Server based SyteLine v6 ERP system. - Delivering business process, functional and systems changes in a controlled environment to business requirements.
- - You will be the Key Contact for business users on SyteLine Windows 2012 server, development of analytics and support infrastructure. - You will be required to collaborate with internal and external teams that require access to business data generated by SyteLine, associated repairs business applications and Dowty Data Lake. - You'll be responsible for general maintenance of Web applications, data lake, legacy repair applications and SyteLine systems and associated systems (backups, general systems health, system resource requirements etc.). - Work seamlessly with other teams across Digital and the wider organisation. Additional Responsibilities: - Lead the migration of legacy repair applications to current platforms. - Ensuring quarterly audits of infrastructure and access management are completed. - Responsible to ensure Requests and Changes are delivered compliantly and on time. - Responsible for ensuring technical documentation is created and maintained. - Provide Digital Technology expertise to support business initiatives. - Become 1st point of escalation for Web platforms, analytics and data lake infrastructure. - Provide Optio print support and development capability.
- - Substantial current technical experience with SyteLine v6 and Progress database technologies on Windows 2012 Server. - Substantial experience with digital technology. - Experience communicating to multiple stakeholder levels, including GE customers, GE end users and senior leadership. - Experience working across a diverse environment of IT employees, consultants and vendors.
