I am currently recruiting for a well experience DV cleared Java Developer. In this role, you will be working on projects across the public and private sector to deliver cutting edge products that directly impact national and international defence and intelligence.

To be successful in this application, you should hold current and valid DV clearance (Enhanced, UKIC, SIA, MoD) or be willing to be cleared to this level.

Essential:

• 3+ years software development in Java, preferably on secure projects
• Familiarisation with database technologies such as Elastic, Mongo
• Familiarisation with automation test frameworks such as Selenium
• Use of deployment tools such as chef and puppet
• Experience of working in an Agile scrum team, and the tooling that supports it, e.g. Jira
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (English).

Desirable Skills & Experience but not essential:

• Experience with container management and micro-services architectures such as Docker
• Experience extending and improving Open Source Software
