C#.NET Developer, WinForms, SQL

The position joins a leading developer of advanced systems to the defence sector - as such you'll need to qualify for Security Clearance, therefore have a minimum of 5 years continuous residence in the UK.

The C# Developer opening will suit a degree level candidate who has commercial experience in Software Development including some of the following:

• Windows application development experience with C# and the .NET framework.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft development tool-chain.
• Knowledge of current industry best practice software development processes including Agile.
• Mentoring or leading a team and providing technical direction.
• Estimating, planning, allocation and deployment of team member's workload to ensure that deliveries are met to time, budget and quality constraints.
• Reporting against teams work programmes including analysis of risk.
• Ensuring team size capability mix is optimised for successful delivery of work packages.

You will have the opportunity to work on projects through the full development life cycle, and projects will be varied - working in multi-disciplined teams on software for helicopters, fast-jets or unmanned air vehicles.
